The more skin exposure the better. It is recommended all clothing except undergarments are removed. (However a bathing suit or minimal sportswear are allowed as long as there is no metal). Socks and gloves are required and are provided to all clients. Privacy is maintained throughout the treatment as there is a private dressing room, a robe to get in chamber, and once in the chamber only the clients head and hands are exposed.
How does whole body cryotherapy work?
The Cryosauna uses gasiform nitrogen to lower the client’s skin surface temperature from normal body temperature to 0 degrees Celsius in 30 seconds or less and keeps it that way for two-three minutes. The skin reacts to the cold and sends a powerful message to the brain that acts as a stimulant to all regulatory functions of the body. It produces the scanning of all areas that may not be working to their fullest potential.
How do I feel when I finish cryotherapy?
During each session the body releases endorphins, which are hormones that make you feel good and energetic. The buoyant effect from each session lasts at least 6 – 8 hours and increases with the number of treatment sessions. Many clients have expressed that they have had the best night of sleep after their session.
